A global perspective

I'm Swedish, British, American and Swiss, which mostly means I've never had a simple answer to "where are you from?". I studied at the University of St. Gallen, with a focus on strategy and finance, and spent a semester at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business taking MBA-level courses on entrepreneurship and AI. Berkeley is where I got hooked on the Bay Area's AI ecosystem.

While still a student I founded a consultancy and ran St. Gallen's case competition programme, coaching students with Bain & Co.

Three seats at the table

I started in venture capital at Cherry Ventures in Berlin, doing diligence and writing investment memos on early-stage companies. One of the companies I worked on was telli (YC F24), a voice AI startup. I liked it enough to join as its first commercial hire.

After an M&A internship at BNP Paribas, working on multi-billion euro transactions, I went back to telli. I closed deals across the full sales cycle, opened the UK and US, and then ran marketing on my own. The part I'm proudest of is the growth system I built: a set of AI agents that generated and tested ad creative, tracked the funnel end to end and reported into a dashboard I coded myself.

So I've assessed startups as an investor, valued companies as a banker, and built growth inside one as an operator. That mix is what I write from.

Why this site

Once a month I publish The Willpower Report on tech, business, finance and sport. I write about what I've tested myself or seen up close: how AI agents change go-to-market, what makes early-stage companies work, and where the money is moving.

You'll also find my playbooks and the tools I rely on here, and a direct line to me if you want to work together.
